About this template

For patio builders, outdoor living installers and carpenters who fit louvre roof systems on patios and pergolas. It follows the job from site checks and footings through frame erection, blade fitting, motor and sensor installation and handover, and points to a separate SWMS for aluminium patios and insulated roofs.

Ticked for you: a risk of a person falling more than 2 m (reg 291(a)), because frame and blade work is above 2 m on most jobs. Also tick, where they apply to your job: work near energised electrical installations or services (reg 291(k)), asbestos disturbance if you drill or cut an existing building (reg 291(d)), and a trench or shaft deeper than 1.5 m if you dig deep footings (reg 291(g)(i)). Tick the silica item if you core or drill masonry as a regular part of the job.
