About this template

For builders, fixers, installers and maintenance crews who drill and set mechanical and chemical anchors in concrete and masonry. The job steps run from anchor planning and scanning for reinforcement and services through drilling, dust control, installation, testing and recording.

A SWMS is legally required under WHS Regulation s 299 only for high risk construction work (s 291). Drilling concrete and masonry creates silica dust, so the contaminated atmosphere item is ticked by default; also tick work on or near energised electrical installations or services, and a fall of more than 2 metres, where they apply to your job.
