About this template
Suits mechanical, fire protection and building services contractors who install, test and reset fire and smoke dampers in ducts, ceilings and risers. It follows the work from planning and managing impaired fire protection to access, handling spring-loaded dampers, fixing, connecting controls, testing and recording. Ceiling-space entry is covered by a separate SWMS.
Work with a risk of a fall of more than 2 metres is high risk construction work (WHS Regulation s 291(a)), so that item is ticked. Tick the others the job involves, such as confined spaces, energised electrical installations or services, or disturbance of asbestos.
