About this template
For road contractors and earthmoving crews stabilising pavements with lime or cement, spreader trucks and recycler or stabiliser machines. It follows the job in order, from planning and services checks to receiving bulk binder, spreading, mixing, compacting, maintenance and wash-down. General road construction is covered by a separate SWMS.
The reg 291 items for a road in use (13) and powered mobile plant (14) are ticked. Tick the optional contaminated atmosphere item (11) if the pavement material contains crystalline silica or the assessment finds a contaminated atmosphere from binder dust.
