About this template

Suits traffic management companies and road crews who protect moving work such as line marking, sweeping and maintenance. It follows the shift from the briefing and vehicle checks through convoy movements, directing traffic, lane changes and incidents to fatigue, weather and handover. Static sign set-up and general traffic planning are covered by separate SWMS.

Both pre-ticked items (road in use by traffic, powered mobile plant) apply where the moving work being protected is high risk construction work, which needs a SWMS (WHS Regulation s 299). If the work you are protecting is not construction work, such as routine sweeping, untick them and keep this as your safe work procedure.
