About this template

Suits gas fitters and commercial kitchen installers connecting gas cooking equipment such as ranges, fryers, ovens and combination units. It covers planning, isolation, moving heavy equipment, pipework and hose connection, hot work, leak testing and purging, ventilation and commissioning, and handover.

The high risk construction work box for work on or near chemical, fuel or refrigerant lines (WHS Regulation s 291(j)) is ticked because the work is on the gas piping that carries fuel to the appliance. Tick any other box that applies, such as pressurised gas distribution mains or piping (s 291(i)), a flammable atmosphere or energised electrical installations or services.
